Dear Church Family,

We have begun meeting indoors for worship.  Masks are required and there is plenty of room in the sanctuary and fellowship hall.  Although the situation is far from ideal, we are blessed to gather together!  We simply are not made to be apart!  We will continue to stream the service for those who cannot be with us in person.

Next Baptism Saturday, November 7th: Have you placed your faith in Jesus? We’d love to celebrate with you! Let Pastor Paul know!

Catalyst Young Adults: meets every other Sunday for fellowship, pizza and discipleship. Beginning book study of Bonhoeffer’s Life Together. Next meeting is November 7th! Contact Brendon Norton for more information at brendon.norton@kingofgrace.org.

Youth Group: meets in 2 cohorts (Cohort A: Yr 11-12, Cohort B: Yr 7-10), and each cohort will be divided between guys and gals. Meetings will be every Friday from 7:30-9 pm, typically at the Gayner’s house, with cohorts meeting every other week. Cohorts will be led by Toby Gayner (guys) and Kelly Gayner (gals), with support from other young adults and parents as able. Our usual format will focus on discussion, Bible study and application of the Sunday sermon series in 1 John, as well as have time to discuss general “Questions of Life” and pray together – all in the context of hanging out around the outdoor fire, playing pool, or being creative in the kitchen. We ask that if anyone or members of their household are feeling unwell or has flu-like symptoms, please stay home and let us know.

Can you help a friend of Pastor Paul?
(Here is his email. You can reply to peg.buckley@kingofgrace.org to let us know!)
My youngest son, Nate, who just got married was recently laid off during COVID. He has found a good job in Newburyport but has a lease in Providence and his wife just got a one year temp job in Providence. The commute will be a killer. He is looking for a room he could rent for one or two nights a week from Dec until May when his lease is up.  Do you know anyone who might be willing to do that? He is very careful about COVID. He would be willing to do work around the house or chat with an older person who might need help.
Thanks for considering this. It would be a big help. He really loves the job but just doesnt think he can do the 1 3/4 hour commute 4 days a week.
