Hi guys,

Just wanted to update you on some key requirements during the cold and flu season. We reviewed the Mandatory Safety Standards for churches during COVID (below). They require us to notify anyone with any one of the following symptoms that they can not attend our worship services.

  • fever above 100
  • chills
  • cough
  • shortness of breath
  • sore throat
  • fatigue
  • headache
  • muscle/body aches
  • runny nose or congestion
  • loss of taste
  • nausea or vomiting or diarrhea

I know that means that many of us may be unable to attend. We can continue to utilize our live-streaming and reemploy Zoom for Sunday meetings, as necessary. Also, if you have an official diagnosis that your symptoms are not COVID, we should be able to make an exception. Otherwise, we need to err on the side of caution in order to protect others from infection.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks for praying and trusting God with us as we follow him through the trials of this season. May He refresh us with joy as we meet together in-person and online!
